THE AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. PLUNKET SHIELD MATCHES. The Management Committee of the Auckland Cricket Association met on Tuesday evening, Mr. E. Nalder presiding. Messrs. N. C. Sneddon. D. R. Garrard, and E. C. Beale were appointed a selection committee. The suggestion from the Wellington Association that December 25, 26. and 27 be the dates for the match against Auckland at Wellington, for the Plunket Shield was confirmed. The Canterbury Association suggested the dates for the match, Canterbury y. Auckland, at Auckland, for the week alter New Year. It was resolved that the dates be January 5, 7, and 8. it was decided that there bo separate championships in each section of the second grade competition, but in the third grade the winners of the section play off.
