THE MATAMATA CLUB. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. [BY Trr.EGE.APH.~OWS CORRESPONBEVT ] MATAMATA. Friday. The annuiil meeting of the Matamata Golf Club was held this week. Trophies for tho past, season were presented by the chairman as follows .— Burke, (1) senior championship, (2) bronze medal given by L.G.U. for the lowest aggregate of four medal rounds, (3) club's medal; •Mrs." Walker, (1) junior championship, (2) trophy, stroke play; Miss Montague, (1) one-club competition. (2) match over 12 hole*.; Misa Keane, club's medal; Mrs. Reedy, club's medal; Miss Maisey,. (1) stroke oomrpetitiran, (2) match over 12 holes, (3) club's medal; Mr. Banks, senior-championship j Dr. Muir, strokematch; Mr. E'ersey, stroke match; Mr. McDonald won the junior championship. Officer* were elected as follow:—President, Mr. C. Rollett; rice-presidents, Messrs. G. G. Bell, J. Reedy, and W. E. Connolly captain, Dr. Muix; committee. Dr. Lanrenson, Messrs. B. Banish, J. Montague, W. X. Walker, J. H. Wilson, and S. Stockdale; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. McDonald; auditor, Mr. T. J. Underwood.
