TUAKAU STOCK SALES. Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., report:—We- held our monthly Tuakau sale during tho past week, also a clearing sale at Riverlea P A t Tuakau we yarded 510 head of cattle and have to report a clearance of all excent three pens at sfactory prices. ?:Bidffi on the grown bullocks was not as keen as at recent sales, but several pens that were passed at auction were sold later. The dairy stock was not of very good quality, but was very keenly sought after. b ; id in being brisk.
