Renter. , On resumption of the hearing of the claim for compensation of Kathleen Mary Brooks one of the Irish . deportees, the Attornev-General contended that £100 was fair -compensation, compared with £2000 claimed. , The matron of the police station said that when the women were brought there hey wore singing and joking, The Attorney-General submitted that allegations of ill-treatment in Mount joy prison were irrelevant. Judgment was postponed.
