WELLINGTON, Wednesday.
When a question of differentiation between the Wellington Patent Slip Company and the Union Steam Ship Company came up in the Appeal Court to-day, one of the counsel engaged said that to all intents and purposes, the two were closely related; inasmuch, as the Union Steam Shin Company had practically absorbed the" shares of the Patent Slip Company. Mr. Justice Salmond:, And probably the P. and O. Company practically absorb the shares of the Union Company. Is there any body absorbing the shares of the P. and 0. Company t (Laughtfii.)
