KOREAN MALCONTENTS.
SUSPECTED OF INCENDIARISM MANY KILLED BY MOBS. A. ' ana N.Z ; BRISBANE. 0ct.13. Mr. G. A. Rawson, a New Zealander, who has been a teacher of the English language in Japanese schools, has arrived in Townsville. In an interview, Mr. Bawsoh said that there was little doubt in the minds ormany Japanese that eome fires were caused by Koreans, who hated Japan and took advantage of the calamity to add to (he chaos, and many innocent Koreans were unjustly put to death by the infuriated populace. Mr. Rawson estimates that over 317,000 houses were burned in Tokio and Yckohama.
