Mr. Charlton, Federal leader, urged the need of "solidarity. He said events since the last election showed that when, in the near future, they went to the polls, the result would be that the Federal Labour Party would rule the country. He declared there was danger in the mission of the Prime Minister, Mr. S. M. Bruce, to the H Imperial Conference. He believed the danger zone would be reached when Mr. Bruce attached his signature to any document committing Australia to any share in Imperial defence. _ Australia did not want to. participate in international quarrels. It desired to work only for the world's peace.
