GROCERS' AWARD BREACH.
HELPING A YOUNG WOMAN. fBV TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] \- ; WANGANTJI. Monday. At the Police Court to-day a grocer was fined £20 for making a false entry in his wages and overtime book. Defendant had endeavoured to Help a young woman to gain an insight into the grocery trade before going to Auckland, and to keep his books right he made an entry in accordance with the award. She was; only paid £1 12s 6d a wnek, by arrangement, instead of £4 2s 6d.
