REMOVAL OF PAPERMILLS.

- The New Zealand Papermills plant at Riverhead has now ceased to operate and the machinery is being dismantled for removal. The removal of the mill is a serious matter to many of the local residents, and will mean the exodus or a good number who were dependent on the mill for employment. \ ;. .;;/.;• The final fancy-dress ball of the season /took place on Friday evening. Some 50 couples attended, and there "was keen competition for the prizes for the best costumes.". \ ■:.■':'- '.-"/:,. ■'' *
