New Zealand Government;-• securities buyers '.■' of "War I^oaiis': were ; still goffering late rates, the only sellers being ; holders of the 1938 issue at £97 10s. Soldiers' Loan bonds had sellers at £102 10s, buyers £102 ss. Inscribed .stock in ,the.;same. loan:was looked for at £101 17s 6d, sellers £102 2s '■■: 6d. ; New ' Zealand Inscribed Stock bad ; sustained ;demand,: the only variation .in price being in the 1939 issue, buyers of which reduced offers . from £96 17s 6d to £96 15s. ; In banks New Zealands (ex rights) changed hands at 50s, and rights sold at 28s 3d. The ' shares cum rights were sought at 58s 6d. Australasias had demand at £13 6s. Nationals of New; Zealand were offered at £6 15s, and New South Wales had sellers at £40 15s. Unions wero done at/£l4 6s, more being asked for at £14 ss, sellers £14 75.: In insurances New Zealands had sale at 28s 6d, late buyers 28s, sellers 29s 3d. South British had sellers at 41s 6d, and Nationals at 795. Standards. were wanted at 35s 9d. In miscellaneous lines New Zealand Refrigerating (con.) sold at. lis, and Thames Theatres at 20s. In mining Waihis sold at 25s 6d, more being looked for at that figure, sellers 25b 9d. Grand Junctions at 6s 6d had demand at 6s 4d. New Waiotahis changed hands at lOd and 9d, late buyers Bd, sellers lOd.
