YORKSHIRE HEADS THE LIST.
A. and N.Z. LONDON, Sept. 1Yorkshire heads the county championship list, with a percentage of 85.33. Notts is next with 68, followed by- Yorkshire 60, Surrey 58.26, and Kent 65.55. . Hampshire, 108 and 203 for four wickets (declared), Ibeat Somerset, 60 anjd 85. Kennedy took seven wickets for '37 runs in the first innigs, and five for 35 in the. second. Newman, three for 23 and four for 39, and Kennedy bowled unchanged throughout both innings. Kent, 243 (J. By ran 98) and 229 for five. wickets, drew with Middlesex, 310 .(Hen; dren 172). This was Hendren's twelfth century of the season. Yorkshire, 135 and 170 for five wickets (declared), drew with Sussex, , 129 and 48 for five, , •
