Bavarian Fascisti are in complete control of Nuremberg. They hauled down the Republican flags, and hoisted the Kaiser's standard instead. It is stated that 400,000 Fascisti have been enrolled. The Communists retorted by calling a general; strike. * There have been numerous clashes between the . Republicans and the Fasoiflti, who occupied the city hall, but were driven out by municipal officials. , General Ludendorff had a great reception at Nuremberg railway station. Communists at Essen attempted to establish a dictatorship, but the police prevented anything serious, though the Communists continue their efforts, relying upon the general discontent among th& workers.
