LEADERS OUT OF PRISON. ACTIVITIES RENEWED. A. and N.Z. DELHI. Ave. 31. Mohamed All, the Khilafat leader, released from prison after serving two years' sentence on a charge of sapping the loyalty of troops, has begun political activities immediately. In reply to congratulatory telegrams, he says that he intends to propose at ' the forthcoming special congress at Delhi that every member shall sign a pledge that he is willing to sacrifice his life to attain the freedom of the country.

Lala Lajpat Raj, who was also recently released, has issued a statement in favour of non-co-operators being permitted to enter the Legislatures on the distinct understanding that they shall create such a deadlock as will force the Government to "make teems with them and release Gandhi, and that they shall pledge themselves not to accept Government offices.
