CITY AND SUBURBS CLUB.
The annual meeting and prize night of the City and Suburban Rifle Club was held last week, Mr. G. H. Hughes presiding. Practically every member was present. V. The reports and balance-sheet isliowed an improved position, both' on the financial side and in the matter of attendance at the range. : Present ; indications are that the 1923-24 season, which opens ion Saturday, September 29, will be a good one A pleasing feature of last season was the keen % interest shown in - the younger members and the willingness ;of the more experienced shots to- coach the newer ones, r with i the result that a .decided improvement was noticed -toward the end of the season.' : :; .
