Judgment was entered for her for £100,; witb half the taxed costs, of the action. • ■X "Dr. Marie Stones in February sued Dr. Halliday, Sutherland and .'his. publishers for libel V arising from > statements /in a book criticising' Dr.' Stopes' methods. It• was■'stated in * the ; book that "the poor were the victims Jof experiments," that Dr. Stopes' method of contraception was; dangerous, and that "Bradlaueh was sent to gaol for a lesser crime."
