OPENING OF NEW SEASON. THE FIGURES ■ FOE JULY. INCREASED CHEESE' OUTPUT; The new dairying season is . commencing fairly well in the Auckland district. The butter received for grading .•■at;,the ■ Farmers Freezing Company's stores / durJ ing July totalled 11,834 boxes,' compared;; with 14,005, in; July,./1922, a decrease of 2169. . The decrease may be attributed; ; entirely -to the extremely severe winter j this year, which also: seriously affected.,; production during May. and June. > The figures:- for July indicate that a recovery is now being / ; made. > If i favourable weather is experienced during the current month production, will'. be substantially increased. ' • Cheese supplies show ■/a'-, good increase for last month, 976,. crates, having been received for grading, ■;.-. against 474 received during July, 1922, an increase of 502. ' ''•'■"■- ' "'>' ;•, ' ■■■'■ Shipments from:, Auckland /during July include 12,101 boxes vof butter and 859 crates of cheese to Australia. The Rimutaka; took 6971 bosses of butter and 337 crates of cneese for London and 1918 boxes of butter were shipped to Honolulu.
