The interment will be private. "% , ' MR. R. S. POOLE. Mr. Robert Shand Poole, formerly well- ///f known as a surgeon dentist o£,Cambrid<r.fi, died at West Tamaki 'yesterday at tV "\|H of 85. , Mr. Poole was born in Edinbsipi, ■ and "was educated "at' Aberdeen. ' - He was the son of an Edinburgh physician, and qualified as' a dentist in 1878/ after, which ; •■ he practised for several years at'Montrose. In 1894. Mr. Poole settled at Cambridge, and practised his profession in the \ Waikato for many yea«i. -He was a mem-- J ber of the .Dental College of Great Britain. He was a nephew o£ Dr. Wordsworth/ Poole, /physician ■to ? the Britidi Le-//;trg gation in Peking/' Mr'. Poole married, in 1861, a i daiightor of Mr. T. Wortlfield, of Auckland. .
