Mr :., T ' ?• Wien, S.M, a young man, Ptajp Charles Reve, was charged with forging a cheque for £5 4s, and causing a local jeweller to act on it as if genuine. The information was • dismissed, the magistrate deciding that a prima-facie case , was not established. ■ A native named W. Heka, charged with assisting some person unknown to •' supply accused with liquor for consumption off V ce .A Ed premises, was convicted and fined £10 and' costs. ■ ■ ■-*
