ENGLISH COUNTY CRICKET.
SURREY VERSUS KENT. Australian and N.Z. CaSlo Association. (Reed. 8.50 p.m.) LONDON, July 23. Surrey, in the first innings, made 272 (Fender 73), and then dismissed Kent for 125, mainly owing to the brilliancy of ,! tch, who, bowling his fastest, took seven wickets for *33 runs, hitting the stumps five times. Surrey, in the second innings, made 262 for seven wickets, and then declared (Fender 67 not out). Kent has scored 63 for no loss.
