LONDON DOCK STRIKERS
UNION, LEADERS REPUDIATED DIKECT , \ NEGOTIATIONS. ' Australian and N.Z. Ceblo Asfocia'Mon. (Reed. 8.60 p.m.) _' " LONDON. July 23. Following on the dockers' repudiation of union leaders, the unofficial strike committee decided to negotiate direct with the ' employers. It is officially intimated that the union leaders have been expelled and no longer speak on behalf of - the strikers. ■";' Strikers marching from London, reached Tilbury as dockworkers ' were signing on. They persuaded several hundreds to join the strike. Work was consequently stopped on two New Zealand boats, two P. and 0. boats, two Clan liners, and several smaller vessels. Those marching returned to London, leaving pickets.
