The Evening Standard • states .that effective steps . are ; being taken ensuring adequate financial arrangements for obtaining Spahlinger treatment in cases of lung consumption. Hitherto ' the largest handicap to its use in England baa been the ' existence of an agreement under which one man controlled the whole output of essential serums and vaccines. This man provided money for research, hence the concession, but' hi is now"willing to forgo this advantage. Professor Spahlinger, in return for financial assistance from the British Government, is willing to supply 50 • per cent, of the serums and vaccines from bis laboratory for use in England. , . . . • '
