DISPOSAL OF SHEEP.
RECOVERY OF THE VALUE. OWNER AND MANAGER. A claim for £30, was made it the Magistrate's Court yesterday, before Mr. J. E. Wilson, S.M., by Dr. R. M. Beattie (Mr. Anderson) against P. Hansen (Mr. H. I. Sirason). Plaintiff engaged defendant as manager of his farm at a fixed yearly salary, plus certain percentages on sales of stock and on cream cheque 3. Plaintiff alleged that tho agreement was that defendant should not have meat or butter from the farm. Defendant had disposed of 20 sheep entirely without .plaintiff's knowledge or authority, and plaintiff claimed a, recovery of their . value, £30. Defendant contended that .ho was allowed to kill sheep for himself and for the men. He counter-claimed for board, wages, arid expenses. Judgment was for plaintiff on the claim, ; with, costs. Defendant was given judgment on the counter-claim for £5, but wasj not allowed costs.
