ONEHUNGA BOROUGH.
The Onehunga Borough Council met last evening, the Mayor, Mr. ' J. E. Cowell,' presiding. There were also present. Messrs. W. C. Coldicutt, W. N. Mcintosh, T. G. R. Gilbert, G. Hunter, P. R. Lipscombe, F. H. Doddi. R. G. Barnes,- and C, E. Goode. The water of the borough was again reported as being , entirely satisfactory; The council in committee reconrnended that the houses in the : borough he numbered. This was agreed to. • It was agreed to reply to Messrs. Tozer and Tozer stating that' if they would give sufficient land to round off the comer at the junction of Auckland Road and Mount Smart Road the council would pay all legal expenses of the transfer and would form the footpath.
