At the meeting of the Waitoa Drainage Board at Waihou this afternoon it was decided to convene a conference of the three boards interested, the Hungahunga, Elstow and Waitoa bodies, to, consider a letter received from Mr. E. Taylor,: drainage engineer for the Lands and Survey Department. . Embodied in the letter was an estimate of the cost of dredging the Waitoa River between North Road, Tahariiiii; and the Ohine Stream. ; "As you are 'J aware a channel .averaging 35ft. wide by ! 9ft. deep, has been dredged ■ from the Piako River to the .
