In New Zealand Government | securities there were inquiries for ; war loans, 1938 and >: 1939, at" £96, and for the 1927 issue at £98, but no sellers were quoted. Soldiers' Bonds • and Inscribed Stock, 1933, were in demand at £101 15s, without response. Few Zealand Inscribed; Stock, .1927, were sought at £98, without sellers. There was, an offer of the 1929 issue at £98 5* but no transaction: resulted. The ; : 43 issue found sale at,£96 os, with f ; net inquiries at £96, late sellers asking £&f> 10s. For. the 1939 issue there were buyers at £96 and sellers at £96 ss. For the 1927-41 issue there was also inquiry at £96 10s. sellers seeking ±<yB 10s. In banks : Australasias had buyers at £13 12s and sellers at £13 • 16s. Nationals were offered at £6 17s, without buyers. New gealands sold at 635, and more were available ,at the same price, buyers ,'offering 62s 6d. Nejw South Wales had buyers at £40 10s and sellers in ii,; 1 P, TT a " d °' 8 -* eire s o«ght at £14 Ws, while Unions were on offer at £15. In insurances sellers' quotations were: Nationals 82s, New Zeklands 325, and South Bntish 42s 6d with buyers .of the two last-named, at ls and 41s respec stocks.
