AND METALLING a ROAD FROM clevedon IK) takanini, in the WAIROA and papakura ridings OF the county OF manu.kau. NOTICE is hereby given, that it is the intention of the- Manukau County Council, under the provisions of " The Counties Aot. 1920," " The Local Bodies Loans. Act, 1913," and Amendments thereto, and all other Acts (if any), enabling it in that behalf, and subject to the consent of the Governor-Geueral-in-CounoiJ, under Section 20 of " The Franco Aot, 1919." to Borrow tho sum of £7000 for the following purpose:— "FOR THE OPENING. FORMING. AND METALLING OF A ROAD FROM CLEVEDON TO TAKANINI, IN THE WAIROA AND PAPAKURA RIDINGS OF THE COUNTY OF MANUKAU." —£7000. As security for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the said Loan, the Manukau County Council intends to make and levy a Special Rate of one farthing (id) in the Pound (£) upon tho SffiSSUJ5ft tab ' B Value of ALL RATABLE PROPERTY IN THE CLEVEDON-TAKA-NINJ. ROAX> LOAN OF £7000 SPECIAL RATING AREA, of tho said County, and it is the intention of tho Council to pay out of the said Loan the costs of raising tho Loan, but not the first year's Interest and Sinking, Fund. The Loan is for a period of thirty-six and a-half (36}) years, at the rate or interest of six per cent, per annum, together with an additional charge of one per cent, per annum sinking fund. Tho Boundaries of tho. said Special Rating Area are as follow:— ALL THAT AREA OF LAND in the North Auckland Land District commencing at tho Northernmost corner of the • Maraetai Block, situated in Blook 11. Waifpu- Survey District, and bounded towards the bast generally by the Hauraki Gulf, and tho Yvairoa River to the North-eastern oorner of Pt. Urungahauhau Blook (containing 261 aores 1 rood 25 poles), thence by tho Eastern boundary of said Pt. Urnngahauhau Block, the crossing of and by a Public Road to the South-western corner of Matailai No. IA, 28, 3; thence towards the North generally by tne Southern boundary of the Ness Valloy-Te Kawakawa Bay Special Iteming Area as described in the New Zealand Gazette (No. 68, p. 2460, Sept. 14th, 1922) to the North-eastern corner of Sec. 11, Matait&i No. 6 Block, towards tho South-east generally by the Eastern boundary of the said Sec. 11, Mataitai No. 6 Block, thence by the Northern and North-western boundaries of tho Moumoukai Hill Road Special Rating Area as described in the New Zealand Gazette (No. 9, p. 891, Feb. '3rd, 1921) to the South-western corner of Allot. 88, Parish of Otau, thence by the North-western boundary of Allot. 89 to the South-eastern corner of Allot. 86, all of the aforesaid Parish towards the South generally by the Southern boundary of tho said Allot, 86 of Otau Pariah to tho Wairoa River, by the Wairoa River to the South-eastern corner of Sec. 113, Parish of Hnnua, by tho Southern boundary of the said Sec. 113, by the Southeastern boundaries of Sec. 174 N. Pn. (61 acres), 174, N.M.
