LONDON, July 19. ; The dockers' strike committee in London officially announces that an appeal has been made to other unions /or funds. It declares thatr-the strike continues. -..-■•
Practicaolly all the men at the Surrey, Commercial, and Tilbury docks are idle.
Notwithstanding the strikers' optimism the officials "of the Transport and General Workers' Unions believe there will soon be general resumption of work. The Liverpool dockers decided to return and this is expected to have a powerful influence on the attitude of the strikers in London. • ' :
