CAR FALLS FIFTY FEET.

CRASHES INTO RIVER. DRIVER SERIOUSLY INJURED [by telegraph.— association.] WOODVILLE. Wednesday. About four o'clock yesterday afternoon an accident 'Occurred on the Woodvillo side of Ballance bridge. A motor-car driven by an agent of the Gane Milking Machine Company carried away a considerable portion of a fence and crashed, after a 50ft. straight drop, into the river. The' driver was badly hurt and sent to hospital. -The cause of the . accident is not known.
