OVERSEAS MAILS.
INCOMING. Thirty-four bags of Australian and English mail, ex the Manuka at Wellington, will reach Auckland by train this morning. Sixty bags of newspapers and 38 bags of parcels from Australia, and 70 bags of newspapers and 38 bags of parcels from the United Kingdom arrived at Auckland by goods train last night from Wellington. The Royal Mail steamer Makura is due at Auokland from Vancouver at 6 a.m. tomorrow. She ha* 1979 bags of English and American mails for New Zealand. OUTGOING. Outgoing mails for overseas ports close at Auckland as follows:— To-morrow. Australian States. Ceylon. India, Chins,, Japan, Straits Settlements. South Africa, and Egypt, also Honolulu, per Makura, at 5.30 p.m.; late fee 7 p.m. Satpbpat. Fiji. Tonga, Samoa, and Pago Pago, per Tofua. at 9 a.m. MoKDAT. Cook Islands. Tahiti. Canada. North America, West Indies, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via San Francisco, to connect with "Maungonui at Wellington, at 5 p.m. Mails due London August 26. August 2.
