A meeting of creditors of Alfred Quirk Harrison (Mr. Hore),. importer, of Auckland, was held yesterday, the official assignee, • Mr. W. S. Fisher, presiding. Bankrupt was adjudicated on a creditor's petition. . Bankrupt's schedule showed £2583 lbs 6d owing to unsecured creditors. There were no other liabilities and no assets. The statement of causes of bankruptcy occupied 17-sheets of closely- paper, which bankrupt afterwards reduced to a, summary of four pages. He had four children whose ages ranged from 17 to 23 years. The meeting adjourned until bankrupt has produced his pass books and accounts as promised. Bankrupt has made a statement and the •first meeting of creditors will be held at Maungaturoto on Wednesday. A petition has also been filed by George Annear Creeth, agent, of Auckland.
