OTAGO BOXING AUTHORITY.
RESIGNATION AS A BODY.
[BY TELEGRAPH. ASSOCIATION.] ! DUNEDIN. Thursday. A general meeting of the Otago Boxing Association was held to-night to consider what steps should be taken, in view of the disqualification of the executive by the New Zealand Boxing Council. The president and executive decided to resign in a body, and a now chairman was appointed for the meeting. A provisional committee was then set tip from members of the association not concerned in the disqualification, and the meeting then authorised this provisional committee to apply for re-affiliation to the Boxing Council'. ■:■■■■■ ; /.;.::<
