The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Opawa was to have left New Plymouth yesterday to load, for London at Wangauui roadstead, Wellington, and other ports. THE "DORSET. The Federal steamer Dorset is now due at Wellington from Napier for coaling. From there she will proceed to New Plymouth to complete discharge, and ;to load for West Coast porta of Great Britain. THE RARANGA FOR LONDON. The Shaw, <' Savill and Albion steamer Raranga left Wellington at 1.20 p.m. yesterday for London, via Monte video and Toneriffo. i THE BRADFORD CITY, • The Roardon-Smith Line steamer Bradford City, en route from New York, Philadelphia, and Sabine (Texas), reported by wireless yesterday that she will reach Auckland at daylight 'to-morrow. She will discharge the Auckland portion of her cargo, and will be despatched about Monday for Sydney, - Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Walleroo, and Fremantlo. Messrs. R. Millar and Co. are the local agents. TORT MELBOURNE'S ITINERARY. An alteration in the loading itinerary of the Port Melbourne is announced by the Commonwealth, and Dominion Line. The vessel is at present at Port Chalmers to complete discharge, and to commence loading. The Port Melbourne will proceed thence to Wellington, where she is due on " Sunday. She is to leave there on the fol-low-inn Wednesday for Lyttelton, Gisborne, and Napier, and is to return from Napier to - Wellington, where she is due on May 27 to fill up. The vessel will sail finally from Wellington on May 30 for London, via Las Palnms. / THE MONTROSE FROM TEXAS. ' The Australian Steamship Companv's steamer Montrose, 4452 tens. Captain D. Reid, which is to discharge here under the agency of the Union Company, arrived from Texas yesterday morning, and berthed at the King's Wharf. She has a cargo of case oil, including kerosene, turpentine, and motor spirit, and rosin, also a Quantity of basic slag. About 80,000 cases were loaded at Houston, Texas. The steamer left New Orleans on April 8. and cleared Panama on April i 3. Her voyage across the Pacific was uneventful, fine weather being experienced practically the whole way. The Montrose has only about 400 tons of cargo for Auckland, and it is expected f.he will be able to sail to-night for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Brisbane. Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide to put out the remainder. >

THE EERENGA IN PORT.

The Keardon-Smith steamer Berenga, P750 tons. Captain T. B. Dnnster. running ■under the Union Company's charter, arrived from San Francisco and Pacific ports shortly before noon yesterday, and berthed at the Western Wharf 'about 1 p.m.. to discharge short 3000 tons of cargo. The latter includes a quantity of redwood, about 40,000 cases of oil and general cargo. The total cari;o amounts to about 8600 tons, including <'iOO tens of redwood, loaded, at Eureka. At San Pablo and San Francisco the vessel 1 loaded case oil and general cargo, the latter including a quantity of canned fruit. She cleared the latter port on April IG, and came direct to Auckland, covering the distance in 24 days. Fair weather was met with di ring the voyage, but the second night before reaching Auckland, a cyclone was encountered. It did not prove, however, to be very severe. After discharge of the* Ar.ckland portion of her cargo, the steamer will sail for Brisbane. Sydney, and Melbourne, to put out the remainder. The Bcrenga is making her second voyage under the British flag, and her first voyage to New Zealand. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received cable- advice that its liner Paparoa, carrying passengers, mails, and cargo from New Zealand, arrived at Panama on May 7, and sailed from Colon the following day for Liverpool. The vessel left Wellington on April 12. THE PESHAWUR REPORTED. The British India steamer Pcshawur, running under the auspices of the Federal Line, arrived at Panama on May 7, en route from Wellington to Boston and London with a cargo of New Zealand produce. Cable advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the vessel cleared Colon the next day. She left Wellington on April 16. ; THE * PORT NAPIER ' REPORTED. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Napier, which left Auckland on April. 17, arrived at Monte Video last Wednesday, according to cable advice received.
