The f attraction, probably the most alar of th« series of entertainments, be the floral fete at Ellerslie thisi ' moon. An attractive programme includes a parade or procession of decorated , sr-cars, motor-lorries, and other ilasses of vehicles competing for the £ICO prize and many other valuable '■• ' prizes. There will be special displays by school children, maypole dancing, ' Highland dancing, donkey races, and other interesting events. What has been described as the sensation of the carnival ■-■(' -will : bo triple parachute descent by Mr. sA. Eastwood. The Artillery Band will provide a programme of music. The final event of the carnival will be ft brass band quickstep demonstration, to '; be held in the Domain this evening. \ Nine bands will march to the Domain, via Queen Street, Karangahape Road, '/•''and Symonds Street. ."•'•.Special trains will be run between >>; Auckland and Ellerolie to-day in connection with the floral fete. A special "•"." T - train will also run from and to Hamilton. , -•• ■•'• CARNIVAL REVUE CONCERT. '; ? ;V,, SUCCESS UNABATED. „',', Another enjoyable programme was given by the Carnival Revue Company at ' - the Town Hall concert chamber last even-V-:ing. The "Merrymakers" continued to be ':'v. favourites in several new choruses and r -;ti ensembles. A series of specialty dances •'' were a feature of the programme, the performers being pupils of Misses Cecil :'• Hall and Ailem Beresford. The principal dancers were Misses Doreen O'Sullivan, "C Eileen Cummings, Mavis Morgan, Mar"iorid and Isabella Brook, and Mr. Alan .:' -Hart. Songs were rendered by . Miss :'J'.- ; Lena Fawson, Messrs. Edward Buxton, Will Harris, and Kenneth Impett, while ir' humour was amply supplied by Messrs. Pater Dawson and Will Goodman, the ';'• former providing dramatic recitals and iCStbe latter humorous hours. A pianoforte V; i solo was played by Miss Tui Scally, while an ; impromptu humorous sketch was - riven by Mr. J. O. Swarm. The final programme of the carnival ■ Mason will be presented this evening.

TRAMWAYS WIN THE FINAL.
:■■;!"•'.'; The semi-finals and final of the tug-of- ; , :i; war in connection with the carnival were ; decided at the Town Hall last evening, :y. in conjunction with the boxing match. The winning team waa the Auckland Tramways.
