FINAL * STAGES REACHED.

I. The 49th week of the Auckland Poul-try-keepers Association's fourth single-pen and team egg-laying competition ended on Monday. Another - week will conclude the 1922-23 fixture and only birds likely to put up exceptional records will bo kept for the full 52 weeks. ' The leading team of ducks are on full moult and will be beaten at the post on present indications. The final weights are out and those marked with an asterisk will be out of the prize money owing to the eggs being under-weight. The new contest starts in the middle of April. In the individuals, 11. B. Cruickshank's No. 2 Black Orpington leads with 294 eggs. In tho light breeds, W. A. Nixon's No 1 and T. F. Box's No. 3, White Leghorn, lead with 267, and in the ducks, S. H. Scott's No. 2, Indian Runner leads with 255. The following are the leading teams to date, the first three sets of figures being the individual totals, the figures in parentheses the week's total of the three | birds combined, and the last figures the team total.
