QUEEN BOWS TO FASHION.
COLLARLESS BLOUSE WORN.
LONDON. March 11. Feminine observers were quick to notice yesterday that Queen Mary had adopted the new style of neckwear. Up 11 the present she has invariably worn high collars with both dresses and blouses. She has now. adopted a collarless blouse. Though it is cut high it permits a string of pearls to be seen- to great advantage. . On the other hand, dress experts have observed that the Queen never wears a hat when she entertains guests, though most hostesses have adopted the fashion of • wearing a hat at luncheon or tea, "which often leads to confusion owing to the difficulty of distinguishing hostess from guests."
