The Wingatui. en route from Southern ports, 'was expected to, leave Wellington last night for Auckland direct. Sne is due here on Saturday. The Union Company's steamer Kaimanawa cleared Westport shortly before midnight on Tuesday with a cargo of coal for Auckland. She is due here to-morrow evenins. The departure of the Gisborne Sheepfarmers' steamer Tiroa for the East Coast ha*, been postponed until noon to-day. The auxiliary schooner Zita arrived yesterday morning from Hokiangfr. via i\opU, and Derthed at Nelson What? to discharge a Part cargo of timber. After completion of discharge the vessel will load general cargo at Auckland for Hokianga. The Flora sailed last night for Wliangarei to load cement for New Plymouth. From New Plymouth the vessel will go to Plcton to load a cargo of produce for Auckland. The Richardson steamer Mako sailed last night for Portland to load cement. She will return to Auckland m* to complete loading for Tokomaro Bay, Tolaga Ray. and Qisborna. sailing finally from Auckland on Saturday. The Karori is expected to arrive at Auckland to-morrow nignt with a cargo of produce from Lyttelton. The Walpori, with * cargo of coal, sailed from Greymouth on Tuesday for Auckland, via New Plymouth. The vessel is due here about the end of the week.

The Katoa arrived at Dunedin from Auckland at 8 a.m. yeste/day. The vessel is expected to sail at noon .to-day for Auckland, via way ports, and is due here about March 29. The Westport Coal Company's steamer Canopus sailed from Westport at mid day Sesterday with a cargo of coal for Auck.and. he is due here on Saturday.

SPRINGBURN BRINGING SUGAR, The Colonial Sugar Company's chartered steamer Springburn, 4344 tons, sailed from Bourabaya. Java, on Mfrch 6 with a. cargo of sugar for Auckland. The vessel is due here about March 27.

THE HAURAXI. The Union Company's motor-vessel Haur»ki in to sail from Auckland this evening for Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney to complete discharge of her cargo from Paciflo Coast porta.

THE PORT NAPIER. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line •tenner Port Napier, after loading a large (Hantiiy of dairy produce at Auckland, la *° sail this evening for Whakatane, Gisborne, Nanier and Wellington for further loading. • She will subsequently return to Auckland to complete, and will bo despatched from this port for London, via Mont* Video, about April 12.

THE SCHOONER MAPU. The three-masted schooner Mapu is expected to complete discharge of her cargo Of hardwood poles at the Queen's Wharf about Saturday. Afterwards the vessel will load a cargo of timber at this port for Hobart.

KAIKORAI DUE ON SATURDAY. The Union Company's steamer Kaikorai, •n route from Tong* to Auckland, has reported by wireless that she will arrive on Saturday morning.

NAVUA AT SUVA. The Navua. on route from Samoa and Tonga, arrived at Suva at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. She was timed to leave Suva at 5 Dm. yesterday for Auckland, where she is flue on Monday.

RARANGA DUE AT 3 P.M. TO-DAY. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Karanga, en route from London and_ AntJ**rp to Auckland, has reported by wireless *«? she will arrive, at Auckland at 3 p.m. •Alter medical inspection in the stream, the vessel will berth at tho King's Wharf about 6 P.m., to discharge a largo quantity of general merchandise, and to commence loadtog new Zealand produce, for London.

THE ULIMAROA. .The Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa arfived from Sydney last night and anchored to the stream. The vessel will be medically inspected this morning, and will berth at the Queen's Wharf at about R a.m. to {•nd her passengers, mails and cargo. She i* timed to sail for Sydney at 11 a.m. tomorrow

THE HURUNUI. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Hurunui will complete discharge of the Auckland portion of her cargo from Liverpool on Saturday. On Sunday aftern'.ion the vessel will sail' for Opua to commence loading frozen meat and dairy produen for London. From Opua the vessel will go to Southern ports to continue discharging

NORTHERN COMPANY'S STEAMERS. The Northern Company's steamer Aupouri, after being delayed by the weather at iiokianga, left there yesterday morning tor Onehunga, where she is due this morning. The company advises that the vessel is timed to leave Onehunga at 3 p.m. today for Uokianga. . The Clansman will make only one trip to the North next week. She is timed to sail at 7 p.m. on Monday for Russell, Opua, Whangnroa, and Mangonui. The vessel is due. back at Auckland tho following Friday, Rnd ."A" hen bo l aid un for overhaul. In the following week the Rimu will take up the Clansman's run, and will sail from Auckland on Mondays and Wednesdays.

THE LAS VEQAS. The American steamer Las Vegas, which arrived from San Francisco on Tuesday night was berthed at the Central Wharf yesterday morning. The vessel loaded at Portland, Gray's Harbour and San Francisco. With a cargo of 2,500,000 feet of timber 53.000 cases cT oil and about 600 tons of general cargo, the Las Vegas cleared San Francisco on February 22. The weather was variable to Honolulu, which was reached on March 3. The same day she resumed her voyage and experienced fine weather until March 15, when r.gr.ring the latitude of Suva. The conditions then became very stormy, a hard wind from the north being accompanied by a high sea. The wind blew In squalls of hurricane force and torrential rain. fell. The wind and sea at first were behind the vessel, but later the wind changed to the north-east, east and south-east. The variable wind caused a confused sea, which buffeted the vessel considerably and caused her to ship a large amount of water on her deck. Fortunately no damaje was done. Tho cyclone conditions lasted three days, after which the weather gradually improved as the vessel apr>-oached New Zealand. The Las Vegas will discharge 15,000 cases of oil and a quantity of sreneral cargo at Auckland, and will probnbly sail on Saturday for Australia to complete discharge.
