March 20Mr. Edward, official secretary of the Australian Trade Commissioners Office, addressed a group of bankers in connection with a display of films illustrating Australian industries. He pointed out that Australian production in 1921 totalled almost half the national debt of both the Federal and State Governments, and that Australia's prosperity as reflected in Savings Bank accounts was probably unexcelled in the world. He emphasised the great opportunities offered in Australia for investors of capital and men of energy and brains willing to assist the development of . the country's great ; natural resources.
