There are hundreds of really experienced men in New Zealand wearing ; out shoe leather in search of land at the present moment, but the inflated price makes settlement for even the experienced impossible.. In my own case I migrated nearly two yearn ago, and after working for other people for a period, have bought a little _ Section 100 small to farm, and am waiting and living on my capital until a time when I can buy land unimproved or improved at a reasonable figure. I have two large tracts of land on two sides of-my section, tnt the price asked will have to be considerably less than half before it can be worked by anyone at a profit Immigrants have as a rule arrived .in this country with quite a few hundred pounds, and often, as in my case, it represents a life's savings, so surely we should have, to use the colonial expression, "a fair spin."
