HAMILTON SUPREME COURT
CIVIL SERVANT ACQUITTED.
[by telegraph.—own correspondent.] HAMILTON. Wednesday. A former Public Works overseer at Aria, King Country,' George King, -who was acquitted a fortnight ago by the Hamilton Supreme Court on two charges of having forged departmental vouchers, was tried to-day on two further charges of forgery. He was acquitted. Two other charges of forgery are at present being heard. Gilbert James Pearson was charged on four counts of indecent assault. He was found guilty in two instances, sentence being deferred until Friday. ;:
