NORTHERN AREA MEETING.
OPENING AT PENROSE TO-MORROW,
The annual prize rifle meeting of the Northern Command will take place at Penrose to-morrow and Saturday. There will be matches for cadets, territorials, naval men, members of reserve forces ana of the permanent staff, and members of, rifle clubs. Three hundred entries have already been received from all parts of the command, A feature of the meeting will be the competition between the present holders of the Logan Campbell vase, Hamilton High School, and the former holders, Auckland Grammar School. The cadets will be accommodated in tents at Penrose. The prizes will be presented) after the shooting on Saturday by Colonel Commandant H. R. Potter.
