CHILD KILLED IN DUNEDIN.

A tragic accident happened at Anderson's Bay railway crossing in the city at 3.30 o'clock this afternoon.* A littls boy,, John Deniver,' aged five, was tha . victim. -- - ---..:--... . y A shunter going home from duty noticed the boy lying alongside the railway line, just within the goods yards railings. The little chap had apparently been run over by some trucks which were being shunted, and had both legs and arms badly crushed, but wag quite conscious and able to give his name and address.' He was also able to tell hew the accident, occurred. He had been riding on trucks behind a shunting engine, and one had run . over him. The boy was taken to hospital and all his limbs were amputated, but he died shortly before eleven to-night. *- . .
