KINGSLAND OVERBRIDGE.
PROPOSAL TO RAISE £11,000.
MT. ALBERT POLL TO-DAY.
A poll will be taken to-day in the borough of Mount Albert on the proposal to raise a loan of £11,000 for the construction of the proposed overbridge across the railway line n+ Kingsland. Considerable interest attaches to the poll, as the sanction of the loan is necessary before the tramway extension along Edendale Road can be carried out, the construction of the overbridge having been made a condition thereto by the City Council. The polling places will be at Jubilee Hall, Kincslana; St. Enoch's Schoolroom, Morningsiae; King George's Hall, Mount Albert; Baptist Church, Taumata Road; Edendale; and the Presbyterian Schoolroom, Balmoral Road. The hours of polling will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The town clerk, Mr. H. Utting, is the returning officer.
