This By-law shall be read with and m extending and amending By-law No. 1 ol the City of Auckland, mads on the 19th das of April. 1917, and words herein used shall have the same meaning and be interpreted in the same way as the same words when used in the said By-law No. 1. IN RESPECT OF UNATTENDED VEHICLES. 2. By-law No. 13 subclause (b) of Section ft of the Auckland City Council is hereby repealed, and in lieu thereof the following is enacted:— , ... 3. (b) No person shall leave any vehicle unattended between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. of any day for more than 15 minutes at any one time in any of the following etreets or places in the City of Auckland. No person snail use or cause or allow to be used for advertising or similar purposes in or about the streets or public places of the City any means or device which ip or is to be carried or borne about in the public view whether by persons, animals, vehicles, machines or otherwise and no person shall carry or bear any such means or device or ride or drive any animal, vehicle or machine with or bearing the same in any street or public place in the City provided always that— (at This By-law shall not prevent any person from displaying his name and the nature and location of his business or residence on any vehicle or machine for the time being in his possession and used, at the lime for ordinary commercial carrying purposes in connection with that business. Domain Cricket Ground to the Auckland Summer Carnival Committee for the purpose of a Sports Gathering on the Evenings of March 22 and 24, 1923, with authority to the said Committee to make a charge not exceding One Shilling for each person for admission to the Cricket Ground, with an extra charge of One Shilling for every horse or vehicle, and an additional charge not exceeding One Shilling for each person for. admission to the pavilion.
