ODDFELLOWS' LODGE.
SESSION IN OAMARU.
[by telegraph.—press association.] OAMARU. Tuesday. The Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Oddfellows met in biennial session this morning, delegates being accorded a civic reception by the Mayor, Mr. McDiarmid. The grand master, Mr. Talbot, was presented with an illuminated address from the local lodges. Mr. Talbot stated, in reply to the Mayoral welcome, that there were now over 11,000 members in the order, with consolidated funds of over £16,000.
