WOMAN'S SUDDEN DEATH.
INQUEST AT THAMES. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] THAMES. Saturday. , An inquest was held to-day in connection with the death of a single woman,, Sarah Higgott. who died yesterday afternoon at Kauaeranga. The evidence showed that deceased was a resident of Auckland, No. 18, Carrick Place, Dominion Road, and that she was on a visit to her niece, Mrs. Earnshaw, at Kauaeranga Valley, Thames, arriving here about seven weeks ago. • She was in poor health, and she had complained constantly of severe pains in the head- and neck. Her condition becoming more serious yesterday Dr. Liggins ordered her removal to the hospital, but she died in the ambulance. A post-mortem examination disclosed that death was caused by tho. rupture of a cyst on the left side of the brain. A verdict was returned Min accordance with the medical testimony/, i "';,
