Proposed loan of £11,000 for proportion of cost of erection of an overhead traffic bridge, foot bridges, and construction of approaches within tne Borough of Mount Albert. The Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Mount Albert hereby give notice in pursuance of section 9 of the above-mentioned Act, 1. That the purpose for which the loan is required is for a proportion of the cost of— . la) Erection of an overhead traffic bridge over the Kaipara railway line at Kingsland. (b) Laying out, forming and completion of a new roadway between New North Road and Clark Street. (c) Laying out, forming and completion of a. new roadway between Onslow Road connecting with the now road provided for in the preceding sub-paragraph. (d) Erection of foot bridges for pedestrian traffic over the railway line at Onslow and Edendale Roads. 2. It is intended to allocate such loan as follows— (a) Contribution towards cost of works mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof £ 10,000 (b) Costs, charges and expenses and first year's interest and sinking fund £1,000 3. That the Mount Albert Borough Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such works out of the ordinary revenue, proposes to borrow a sum not exceeding £11,000. 4. That the proposed security for the repayment of such loan shall be a special rate of one-thirteenth of a penny in the £ on all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Albert. 5. That the Mount Albert Borough Council proposes to make such loan repayable in 36} years, and _to make provision for the payment of a sinking fund of wot less than £1 per centum per annum. 6. That the Mount Albert Borough Council proposes to pay out of such loan such costs charges and expenses as the Mount Albert Borough Council may determine to have Actually irred in connection with such loan and the interest and sinking fund thereon for the first your.
