SPORTS CLUB PICNIC.
The annual picnic of the Amateur Sports Club took place yesterday. The s.s. Kawau conveyed the picnickers to Motnihi. and alter much successful fishing a landing was made at Brown's Island. A programme of foot- - V racing and a tug-of-war was indulged in, and proved an enjoyable success. The club ; c ' impionship was won by Mr. R. C. Carter, with Mr. C. Corran second.
