McLEOO WINS TITLE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 7.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 4. The amateur billiards championship was won by W. P. McLeod, who defeated Graham Symes, the holder, by 3000 to 2867. Remarkable play marked the closing stages of the match, McLeod. and Symee returning averages of 35 and 34$ respectively per innings, which are amateur records. McLeod made breaks of 104, 106, 125, and 117. Symes struggled hard to retain the title, but McLeod played finely to the end. '
