STRIKING LUNAR HALO.
BRILLIANT ILLUMINATION. PHENOMENON OVER CHANNEL. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 23. A remarkable lunar halo was observed from the English Channel to-night. It brilliantly lighted up the sky with a dazzling half-moon-like arch. The sea, shipping, and coast were illuminated as clear as by daylight.
