BY ARCHER, s . There was a little schooling at Ellerslie on Saturday morning. Fencer was sent over four of the brush hurdles, but his exhibition was not a. pleasing one, the brown gelding chancing each of' the obstacles. Toddy again acted as schoolmaster to Peter Maxwell over the pony hurdles. Peter Maxwell fenced satisfactorily. Dead Sweet and Vociferate' were companiosis in a schooling task over four hurdles. Dead Swoet baulked at the second obstacle,, but got over at the next attempt and tho pair finished up the round safely. RACING TAXATION. OTAHUHU CLUB'S MEETING.
